It started with an adventure: three entrepreneurs seeking escape from their fast paced, New York City routine. A love of Gold brought them to the land of Argentina, and while backpacking near Mendoza at the foot of the Andes Mountains, they discovered their other love, nestled away in a mystical vineyard, owned by a family whose generations had lived there for over a hundred years.

"It used to be an archaeological dig, way back when... they found dinosaur fossils" stated the Vintner in his native tongue. The soil is rich and pure, and growing grapes had been a family tradition. So naturally, a winery soon followed.

Slowly, Terra Fossil Wines was nurtured into existence, celebrating Gold, Dinosaurs, and the most elegant tasting wine from the land of mystery and intrigue.
